Delete your account
1.Delete from inside the app
This is the fastest route and it does not require contacting anyone.
- Open LockIn → You
- Under Account, choose Delete account
- Confirm
This deletes the LockIn account tied to your Google sign-in. Signing in again afterwards creates a new, empty account.
2.Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, or you cannot sign in, email support@fitnesslockedin.com from the address you signed up with, and ask for your account to be deleted.
We will confirm within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting on it, because acting on an unverified deletion request would itself be a way to harm someone.
3.What gets deleted
- Your account record. The email address, display name and internal user ID associated with your Google sign-in.
- Your cloud backup, if you made one. The uploaded file is removed. Note that this file was encrypted with a passphrase only you hold, so it was never readable by us.
- Your subscription record, meaning the internal link between a Google Play purchase and your account. Billing itself is handled by Google Play, not by us, so cancel or refund a subscription through Play.
4.What is not affected
- Data on your phone. Deleting your account does not touch it, because we cannot reach it. Remove it by uninstalling LockIn, or via Android Settings → Apps → LockIn → Storage → Clear data.
- Health Connect data. That belongs to Health Connect, not to LockIn. Manage or revoke LockIn's access in Health Connect settings.
- Your Google account. Deleting your LockIn account does not delete your Google account.
5.Retention
Once deletion completes, nothing identifying you is retained. We keep no shadow copy and no "deleted" flag against your old identity.
Server logs may briefly contain request metadata such as timestamps and error messages. These are not linked to your identity, are never used to reconstruct an account, and age out on their own.
