Stop negotiating with yourself.
You already know what to do. The problem is the quiet bail: the snooze, the "I'll start Monday," the workout that never happens. LockIn is built to kill that moment.
Android and Wear OS. Free while it is in testing.

One padlock. Shut or open. Nothing in between.
Most fitness apps give you a hundred ways to record that you did nothing. LockIn has one. You press and hold to lock in a single action for the day, and the shackle snaps shut with a haptic clunk you can feel through the phone.
Talk is cheap. The lock is not.
The shackle fights you on the way down and ticks like a ratchet. A decision you can feel is one you remember making. You will feel this one.
Quitting is allowed. Quitting quietly is not.
A locked card will not swipe away. If you genuinely need out, you hold it for three full seconds. Long enough to hear yourself decide.
Sleep in. Stay the same.
Optional, and off until you ask for it. Turn it on and it is a real alarm with a full screen you have to deal with, not something you swipe past half asleep. It does not negotiate.
Built for the days you do not feel like it.
Four screens do the work. Each one is designed to shorten the distance between opening the app and doing the thing.
Some days the work is rest.
LockIn scores your readiness from sleep, resting heart rate, and heart rate variability, measured against your own baseline rather than a population average. On a bad day it tells you to rest, and it means it.
- Greets you differently across four parts of the day
- Nag intensity is a setting, from gentle to relentless
- Rest advice defers to your doctor and never diagnoses

It trains what you avoid.
The plan regenerates daily. It scores every muscle group by how long since you trained it, weights that against the focus you picked, and tells you why it chose what it chose. Then it walks you through it set by set with a rest timer that knows what is coming next.
- Auto progression adds weight and reps as you get stronger
- Rest screens name the next exercise so you can set up early
- Your logged history is never overwritten by a suggestion

You cannot outrun the kitchen.
Scan a barcode against a community product database, or photograph the plate and let on-device recognition do the rest. Macros are suggested from your body goal, and your allergies are checked by a deterministic rule, never by a model's guess.
- Barcode and GS1 QR scanning, free for everyone
- Photos are processed in memory and never uploaded
- Allergen checks run on both the on-device and cloud coach

Progress is boring. That is the point.
Streaks, personal records, badges, and monthly challenges. Wins are celebrated once, at the moment they happen, and then they get out of the way. Weight progress is only ever celebrated toward the goal you set, and never below a healthy weight for your height.
- Fitness and fatigue charted over time
- Ninety day trends for sleep, steps, heart rate and weight
- Encrypted export so your history is portable

The watch is not a remote control. It is the whole session.
Start a workout from your wrist and finish it there, even if the phone is in another room. Heart rate zones are calculated from your own resting and maximum rates, drawn around the rim of the display where a round screen actually has room.

Heart rate alerts are descriptive, not diagnostic. LockIn will tell you your rate has stayed unusually high or low and suggest you ease off. It will not tell you why, and it is not a substitute for medical advice.
Your body is not our business model.
Every fitness app says it respects your privacy. Here is the specific, checkable version of that claim.
- ✓Your weight, food, workouts, sleep, heart rate and commitments are stored in one encrypted file in the app's private storage, keyed by the device keystore.
- ✓That file is excluded from Android cloud backup and from device to device transfer, so it cannot ride along to a new phone without you deciding to bring it.
- ✓Meal photo recognition and barcode scanning run on the phone. Photos are processed in memory and never uploaded.
- ✓Cloud backup is optional, part of Plus, and encrypted with a passphrase that never leaves your device. We cannot read it. Restoring never requires an active subscription.
- ✗No advertising, no advertising identifiers, and no third party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- ✗We do not sell or share your personal information, and health data is never used for advertising.
Straight answers.
Can I get it on Google Play right now?
Not publicly yet. LockIn is in closed testing, which is the stage Google requires before a new developer account can publish to production. Joining the test is how you get it today, and testers keep access when it goes live.
Do I need a smartwatch?
No. The phone app is complete on its own. A Wear OS watch adds live heart rate, zone rings, and the ability to run a session away from your phone.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Signing in is optional and the app is fully usable signed out and offline. The coaching that ships in the app is generated on device.
What does LockIn Plus cost?
Pricing is not set yet. Plus is where the optional cloud features live, starting with encrypted cloud backup. Everything core to training, food logging and coaching stays free, including barcode scanning.
What happens to my data if I quit?
Clear the app's data or uninstall it and the local copy is gone permanently. You can export an encrypted backup first if you want to keep it. If you made an account, you can delete it in the app or from the account deletion page.
Is this medical advice?
No. LockIn is a fitness and accountability tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice, and it defers to your doctor anywhere it touches something prescriptive such as goal weight or recovery.
Twelve people. Fourteen days. Then everyone.
Google requires a closed test before LockIn can reach production. If you train and you are willing to actually use it, you can be one of the testers who gets it there.
