Support
LockIn is built by one person, so you are emailing the developer directly, not a queue. Expect a reply within a couple of days. Include your phone model and Android version and it will be faster.

My readiness score says there is not enough data
Readiness needs sleep, resting heart rate, or heart rate variability, and those have to come from something that writes them into Health Connect. A phone alone does not produce them. Check that your watch or tracker app actually has write permission in Health Connect, then give it a few days: a personal baseline needs seven days of a signal before LockIn will trust it.
The weight chart is empty
LockIn reads weight, it does not invent it. Something has to write weight into Health Connect, such as a smart scale app or a manual entry in Health Connect itself. If the card says "Not shared with LockIn" instead of "No data in this range", the permission is the problem: open You and tap Grant or refresh health access.
I am not getting any notifications
Check that notifications are enabled for LockIn in Android settings. Some manufacturer skins, OnePlus and Xiaomi especially, are aggressive about this and will silently drop notifications from apps they have decided are idle. Also check battery optimisation is not restricting LockIn, since the coach runs on a background schedule.
The wake-up alarm did not ring
The alarm is off by default and has to be switched on in You. It also needs permission to schedule exact alarms and to show full screen notifications. If either is missing, LockIn will say so on the Today screen rather than failing silently.
My watch is not syncing with my phone
The watch and phone apps have to be installed from the same source. A watch app sideloaded from a different build than the phone app cannot talk to it, because Android requires both halves to share a signing certificate. Install both from Play and make sure the watch is paired to the phone that has LockIn on it, not a previous phone.
I forgot my backup passphrase
Then the backup cannot be opened, by you or by us. That is the point of it: the passphrase never leaves your device and is not stored anywhere, so there is no recovery path and no way for us to read your file. Your data on the phone itself is unaffected.
I want my data out of the app
You can export an encrypted backup from within the app at any time, and restore it on another device, or from the very first onboarding screen after a reinstall. Restoring never requires an active subscription.
I want to delete my account
You can do it inside the app under You, or follow the steps on the account deletion page, which also spells out exactly what is removed and what is not.
What makes a bug report useful.
There is no analytics or crash reporting SDK in LockIn, by design. That means nothing reaches the developer unless you send it.
- ✓Your phone model, Android version, and whether you are on the phone app, the watch app, or both.
- ✓What you tapped, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot beats a paragraph.
- ✓Whether it happens every time or only sometimes.
- ✗Please do not send health records, photos of documents, or anything you would not want in an email inbox. Nothing about a bug report needs them.
If you have a medical concern, contact a doctor rather than an app developer. LockIn is not a medical device and cannot advise you on symptoms.
